Bible Questions Answered:
“...when I try to do good things, seems like I'm blocked here and blocked there and I eventually give up...”
Raleigh/ Strasburg, Virginia U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Anything done for The Lord, will meet with spiritual hindrances!

Hindrances By The Enemy:

Genesis 3:4,5 NLT (Tempts)
4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.
5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

Matthew 4:1 KJV
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Job 1:9-11 NLT (Slander)
9 Satan replied to The Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God.
10 You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is!
11 But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!”

Job 2:7 NLT (Sickness)
So Satan left The Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.

Zechariah 3:1,2 NLT (Opposition)
1 Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before The Angel Of The Lord. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the Angel’s right hand, making accusations against Joshua. 2 And The Lord said to Satan, “I, The Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”

Matthew 13:19 KJV (Faith Killer)
When any one heareth The Word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Matthew 13:38 KJV (Sows evil seed.)
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Luke 9:42 KJV (Binds, body and soul)
As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil[h] spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father.

John 8:44 KJV (Liar)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in The Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 13:32 KJV (Drives, unregenerate men to sin.)
And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him;

Hebrews 12:1,2 KJV (Worldly Cares)
1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus The Author And Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at The Right Hand Of The Throne Of God.

I Peter 5:8,9 KJV (Preys upon mankind.)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Take heart child of God, our Lord is our helper!

Our Helper Is The Lord:

Psalm 28:7,8 KJV
7 The Lord is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8 The Lord is their Strength, and He is the saving Strength of His anointed.

Psalm 40:17 NLT
As for me, since I am poor and needy let The Lord keep me in His thoughts. You are my Helper and my Savior. O my God, do not delay.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 50:9 KJV
Behold, The Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

Hebrews 13:6 KJV
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

I am On The Battlefield For My Lord

Refrain:
I am on the battlefield for my Lord,
I'm on the battlefield for my Lord;
And I promised Him that I would serve Him till I die.
I am on the battlefield for my Lord.

I was alone and idle,
I was a sinner too,
I heard a voice from heaven
Say there is work to do,
I took the Master's hand,
And I joined the Christian band,
I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. [Refrain]

I left my friends and kindred
Bound for the Promised Land,
The grace of God upon me,
The Bible in my hand,
In distant lands I trod,
Crying sinner come to God,
I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. [Refrain]

Now when I met my Savior,
I met Him with a smile,
He healed my wounded Spirit,
And owned me as His child,
Around the throne of grace,
He appoints my soul a place,
I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. [Refrain]

Bible Questions Answered:
“...is December 25th the actual date of Christ's birth?...”
Delmar/ San Francisco, California U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

We simply do not know. December 25th was a pagan holiday. The Roman holiday Saturnalia, honored the god of Saturn, an agricultural deity. The holiday was celebrated from December 17th – 25th.

Christians, refused such a holiday by the Romans, but thought, rather to celebrate the birth of
The Savior instead.

Christmas was not officially celebrated until under Roman Emperor Constantine in 336 A.D.
Early Christians, refused any celebration, thinking it too much akin to pagan celebrations.
Fires and food, and drink, merrymaking, gifts and decorations, all spoke too much like heathen Roman holidays.

A Promised Savior:

Isaiah 7:14 KJV
Therefore The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear A Son, and shall call His name Emmanuel.

Isaiah 9:6,7 KJV
6 For unto us A Child is born, unto us A Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of The Lord Of Hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 40:1-11 KJV
1 Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God.
2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of The Lord's hand double for all her sins.
3 The voice of Him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of The Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of The Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of The Lord hath spoken it.
6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:
7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because
The Spirit Of The Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.
8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but The Word Of Our God shall stand for ever.
9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
10 Behold, The Lord God will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
11 He shall feed His flock like A Shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Micah 5:2 KJV
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler In Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Matthew 1:18-25 KJV
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as His mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with Child Of The Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of The Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth A Son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of The Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth A Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her Firstborn Son: and he called his name Jesus.

Matthew 2:1-12 KJV
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is He that is born King Of The Jews? for we have seen His star in the east, and are come to worship Him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule My people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for The Young Child; and when ye have found Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where The Young Child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw
The Young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down, and worshiped Him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.
12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Luke 1:26-38,39-45,46-55,67-79 KJV
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, The Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth A Son, and shalt call His name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son Of The Highest: and The Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:
33 And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the Power Of The Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called The Son Of God.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of The Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judea;
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with The Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is The Fruit Of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from
The Lord.

46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify The Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.
48 For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 For He that is Mighty hath done to me great things; and Holy is His name.
50 And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation.
51 He hath shewed strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away.
54 He hath helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;
55 As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to His seed for ever.

67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
68 Blessed be The Lord God Of Israel; for He hath visited and redeemed His people,
69 And hath raised up an Horn Of Salvation for us in the house of His servant David;
70 As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant;
73 The oath which He swear to our father Abraham,
74 That He would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve Him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before Him, all the days of our life.
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of The Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of The Lord to prepare His ways;
77 To give knowledge of salvation unto His people by the remission of their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby The Day spring From On High hath visited us,
79 To give Light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Luke 2:1-20 KJV
1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her Firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of The Lord came upon them, and the glory of The Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David
A Savior, which is Christ The Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find The Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which The Lord hath made known unto us.
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and The Babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this Child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

John 1:14 KJV
And The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of The Only Begotten Of The Father,) full of Grace and Truth.

John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.

Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but The Gift Of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 4:4,5 KJV
4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

I Timothy 1:15-17 KJV
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to Life everlasting.
17 Now unto The King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, The Only Wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer:

Romans 5:7,8 KJV

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God The Father, and from The Lord Jesus Christ,
The Son Of The Father, in Truth and Love.

Revelation 1:4 NLT

There is no peace, saith The Lord, unto the wicked.

Matthew 4:3 KJV (tempter)
And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If thou be The Son Of God, command that these stones be made bread.

John 8:44 KJV (Murderer, Liar)
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in The Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 10:10 KJV (Thief)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Romans 3:12-17 KJV
12 They are all gone out of The Way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:

II Corinthians 11:14 KJV Revelation 20:10 (Deceiver)
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

I Peter 5:8 KJV (Enemy)
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

I John 3:4-10 KJV I John 5:18,19 (Sin)
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that He (Jesus Christ) was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose The Son Of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Revelation 6:4 KJV

23 Sing, O ye heavens; for The Lord hath done it..."

Isaiah 45:21,22,25 KJV
21 "...there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me.
22 Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
25 I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Wonderful Peace

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial-like strains it unceasingly falls
O’er my soul like an infinite calm.

Refrain:
Peace! peace! wonderful peace,
Coming down from The Father above;
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray,
In fathomless billows of love.

What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace,
Buried deep in the heart of my soul;
So secure that no power can mine it away,
While the years of eternity roll. [Refrain]

I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace,
Resting sweetly in Jesus’ control;
For I’m kept from all danger by night and by day,
And His glory is flooding my soul. [Refrain]

And I know when I rise to that city of peace,
Where the Author of peace I shall see,
That one strain of the anthems the ransomed will sing,
In that heavenly kingdom shall be: [Refrain]

O soul, are you here without comfort or rest,
Walking down the rough pathway of time?
Make Jesus your friend ere the shadows grow dark;
O accept this sweet peace so sublime. [Refrain]

Bible Questions Answered:
“...so how do you tell someone they are lost?...”
Debrina/ Clarksville, Arkansas U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Physically, one Is either alive or dead, and it is no different for the soul of man. The soul has spiritual life, or death, (if the soul is lifeless, it does not ceases to exist, for the soul is eternal), eternal Life is in and through The Creator, Savior, Jesus Christ. A person either has The Lord (Life), or doesn't have Him.

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him (Thomas), I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father, but by Me.

Born under the judgment of sin, due to Adam's fall, our soul is by nature, lifeless.

Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Ephesians 2:1 KJV
"...dead in trespasses and sins."

Colossians 2:13 NLT
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature..."

The question than is, may a lifeless soul live? And the answer is yes!

John 3:1-21 KJV
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, Rabbi, we know that thou art A Teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with Him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of The Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of The Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of The Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even
The Son Of Man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal Life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting Life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth The Light, neither cometh to The Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Spiritually Lifeless:

Proverbs 21:16 KJV
The man that wandereth out of The Way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

Matthew 8:22 NLT
But Jesus told him, “Follow Me now. Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead.

Luke 15:32 KJV
We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!’”

John 6:53-58 KJV (Jesus, here is speaking metaphorically.)
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of The Son Of Man, and drink His blood, ye have no Life in you.

(Taking Communion, is a public confession, that you believe in the life, death and resurrection of The Lord Jesus. Remember that our Lord and Savior, was "NOT-DEAD," when He spoke these words, so the elements of Bread and Wine, could "not actually have been," His own body and blood! They were symbolic representations.)

54 Whoso eateth My Flesh, and drinketh My Blood, hath eternal Life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For My Flesh is meat indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth My Flesh, and drinketh My Blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him.
57 As The Living Father hath sent Me, and I live by The Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me.
58 This is that Bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this Bread shall live for ever.

(Jesus, of course was not a loaf of Bread, but He is as necessary as bread, for Life-spiritual Life.)

Ephesians 2:1-9 KJV
1 And you hath He quickened*, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

* Quickened-Greek: Zoopoieo (Dzo-op-oy-eh-o): Vitalize: make alive, give life, quicken.

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened* us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

* Quickened-Greek: Suzoopoieo (Sood-zo-op-oy-eh-o): To reanimate conjointly: quicken together with.

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 5:14 KJV
Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee Light.

Colossians 2:13 KJV
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

I Timothy 5:6 KJV
But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Revelation 3:1 NLT
Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has The Sevenfold Spirit Of God and the seven stars: “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead.

48 I am that Bread Of Life.
51 I am The Living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and The Bread that I will give is My Flesh, which I will give for the Life of the world.
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the Flesh of The Son Of Man, and drink His Blood, ye have no Life in you.
54 Whoso eateth My Flesh, and drinketh My Blood, hath eternal Life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
