Messiah-Which One?

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I don't see how if this coming world leader, no matter where he comes from, if he is absolutely evil, who would want him. Who would trust him, miracles or not?”
Torhilda/ Oslo, Norway

Bible Answer:
Seems illogical doesn't it! But on the contrary, it will be very logical, to those who are here to receive him!

Let's see what Jesus has to say.

Luke 17:26,27 KJV (Jesus)
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Genesis 6:5 KJV (Noah's day.)
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Luke 17:28-30 KJV (Jesus)
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

Genesis 19:4,5 NLT (Sodomites)
4 But before they retired for the night, all the men of Sodom, young and old, came from all over the city and surrounded the house.
5 They shouted to Lot, “Where are the men who came to spend the night with you? Bring them out to us so we can have sex with them!”

OK, Jesus tells us that ...
Luke 17:26 KJV
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man.

If this is so, and who doesn't know it to be true today? Then we must but take a moment to ask ourselves what kind of Messiah, would this world be longing for?

WOULD IT BE THIS MESSIAH, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD?

Psalm 9:7,8 KJV
7 But the Lord shall endure for ever: He hath prepared His throne for judgment.
8 And He shall judge the world in righteousness, He shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Matthew 4:17 KJV
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts 17:30,31 KJV
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead. (Judgment by Jesus Christ.)

I Corinthians 15:25 KJV
For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.

Hebrews 12:14 KJV
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Revelation 5:11-14 NLT
11 Then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders.
12 And they sang in a mighty chorus: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered— to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”
13 And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”
14 And the four living beings said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb.

Revelation 19:16 KJV
And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

OR WOULD OUR WORLD APPRECIATE A MESSIAH LIKE THE FOLLOWING:

A Man of Sin:
II Thessalonians 2:3 KJV
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Wicked One:
II Thessalonians 2:8 KJV
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

Antichrist:
I John 2:18,22 KJV
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Beast:
Revelation 13:4 KJV
"... they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

THE WAYS OF THIS MESSIAH ARE:

Lawless:
II Thessalonians 2:3-12 NLT
3 Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction.
4 He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
5 Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you?
6 And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes.
7 For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the One who is holding it back steps out of the way.
8 Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him by the splendor of His coming.
9 This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles.
10 He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the Truth that would save them.
11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.
12 Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the Truth.

Opposes Christ, the Son of God:
II Thessalonians 2:4 NLT
He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.

Deceiver:
II Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

II Thessalonians 2:9 NLT
This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and signs and miracles.

II John 7
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Revelation 19:20 NLT
And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Christian Tormentor:
Revelation 13:7 KJV
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Demon Possessed:
Revelation 16:13 NLT
And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.

Defaming and denying the incarnation of Jesus Christ:
I John 4:2,3 KJV
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

II John 7 KJV
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Demands the Worship of all Mankind:
II Thessalonians 2:4 KJV
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

“...I don't see how if this coming world leader, no matter where he comes from, if he is absolutely evil, who would want him. Who would trust him, miracles or not?”

Who would want him?
Why an evil world without Christ, that's who!

Revelation 6:13-17 KJV
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

False Prophet- The

Bible Questions Answered:
“...who will be this false prophet?”
Tony/ Dallas, Texas U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Satan, is a mimic, i.e. all he does is to imitate God in all He does, in a antithetical way of course.
The Trinity is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:29 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Satan, also has his trinity, albeit of evil, the father (Satan), the son (the Anti-Christ), and the spirit (False Prophet, Religious Leader).

Who is the False Prophet? Is the False Prophet, in the world today? Will we know the False Prophet, before our Lord's coming?
All these questions are answered in the Bible's description of “who,” the False Prophet is!

Revelation 13:11-18 KJV (Lamb beast from out of the earth.)
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast (Anti-Christ) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Ministry of God The Holy Spirit
The Work of the False Prophet
Third Person of the Trinity Matthew 28:19 KJV
"...the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Third person of the false trinity Revelation 16:13 KJV (Evil Leaders Possessed With Evil Spirits.)
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
The Holy Spirit guides one to the Truth.
John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
The False Prophet, deceives and leads to destruction.
Revelation 13:11,14 KJV
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
The Spirit of God, brings honor to Christ.
The False Prophet brings honor to the Anti-Christ.
John 16:13,14 KJV
13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Revelation 13:12 KJV
And he (The False Prophet) exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Spirit of God infilled believers at Pentecost and Sealed them.
False Prophet, will call down fire from heaven, and cause all to receive the mark (stigmata) of the beast, to all who WORSHIP the beast.
Acts 2:3,4 KJV
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost..."

Ephesians 1:13 KJV
"... in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise,

The Holy Spirit's heavenly fire and sealing followed 10 days of fasting and prayer in the upper room, to all those who faithfully worshipped the God of heaven.
Revelation 13:13,16-18 KJV
13 And he (False Prophet) doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

This heavenly fire and marking (stigmata) follows the worship of followers of the Satan (The Dragon) and the Beast Anti-Christ.

Revelation 13:4,8,12,15 KJV
4 And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 14:9,10,11 KJV
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 16:2 KJV
And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Revelation 19:20 KJV
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:4 KJV
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The Holy Spirit leads to life.
The False Prophet leads to death.
Romans 8:1,2 KJV
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Revelation 13:15 KJV
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

The end of the False Prophet:

Revelation 19:20 KJV
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10 KJV
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Warnings for the Last Days.

Last Day False Religions:

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day,

Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in thy name? and
in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew* you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
*Knew – Greek – Ginosko (Ghin-oce-ko): Be aware of, have knowledge of, be sure of.

Matthew 7:23 KJV (again)
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew* (I never /was aware of/ had knowledge of/ was sure of) you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Although they were a very religious, charismatic assembly, yet the Saviour, the Lord of heaven and earth had “no-personal relationship,” with them. They had not, or would not, make Him the Lord (Master), of their lives. Going through all the motions, for their spiritual needs, and all for naught.

II Timothy 3:1-5 KJV
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Last Day False Christs and False Prophets:

Matthew 7:15 KJV
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 24:23-26 KJV
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Revelation 3:11 KJV
Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Revelation 22:7 KJV
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22:12 KJV
And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Revelation 22:20 KJV
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Earth Polluted-Renewed

Bible Questions Answered:
“...our world is so polluted with chemicals, and now radiation, what will God do?”
Andrew/ Winnipeg (Manitoba), Canada

Bible Answer:

God is angry with those who have polluted His perfect creation, and polluters will one day answer to God.

Psalm 24:1 KJV
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Revelation 11:18 KJV
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

On God's prophetic time schedule, after the Great White Throne Judgment, God is going to create a “new heavens, and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness (II Peter 3:13 KJV).

Purification By Fire:

Isaiah 34:4 KJV
And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Matthew 24:35 KJV
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

Luke 21:25,26 KJV
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Hebrews 1:10-12 KJV
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

II Peter 3:3-12 KJV
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 6:14 KJV
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

A New Heaven And A New Earth:

Isaiah 65:17 KJV
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Isaiah 66:22 KJV
For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Romans 8:18-25 KJV
18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later.
19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who His children really are.
20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope,
21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.
22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies He has promised us.
24 We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it.
25 But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)

II Peter 3:13,14 KJV
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Revelation 21:1,5 KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
5 And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

Matthew 5:5 KJV
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: God's Guidance: Pillar of Cloud By Day, Pillar Of Fire By Night

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: God's Guidance, Pillar of Cloud, By Day, Pillar Of Fire, By Night.

Occasion: The Revelation Of God's Power.

Location: Etham, Near Egypt.

Bible Text:

Exodus 13:20-22 NLT
20 The Israelites left Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness.
21 The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and He provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night.
22 And the Lord did not remove the pillar of cloud or pillar of fire from its place in front of the people.

Exodus 13:20 NLT
20 The Israelites left Succoth and camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness.

17 When Pharaoh finally let the people go, God did not lead them along the main road that runs through Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land. God said, “If the people are faced with a battle, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.”
18 So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle.

God had a great idea in mind, to be covered in the next Bible Lesson.

Exodus 13:21 NLT
21 The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and He provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night.
22 And the Lord did not remove the pillar of cloud or pillar of fire from its place in front of the people.

The people of Israel, had three things which the people of God still have today....what are they?

1) God's Presence:

Genesis 28:15 KJV (The Lord's promise to Jacob.)
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest...for I will not leave thee..."

Exodus 33:14 KJV (The Lord's promise to Moses.)
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Matthew 18:20 KJV (Jesus promise to His people.)
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 28:20 NLT (Jesus promise to His church.)
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Romans 8:38,39 KJV (Apostle Paul.)
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

II) God's Protection:

Deuteronomy 20:1,4 KJV (The Lord's promise to His people.)
1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
4 For the Lord your God is He that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

II Chronicles 16:9 KJV
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him..."

Psalm 34:7 KJV
The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.

Psalm 91:4 KJV (Mother Eagle/ Christ's Mother Love.)
He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalm 125:2 KJV
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from henceforth even for ever.

Isaiah 43:2 KJV (The Lord's promise to His people.)
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

III) God's Guidance:

Psalm 23:2 KJV
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

Psalm 25:9 KJV
The meek will He guide in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way.

Psalm 37:23 KJV
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way.

Psalm 48:14 KJV
For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.

Psalm 73:24 KJV
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Isaiah 30:21 KJV
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 42:16 KJV
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Luke 1:79 KJV
To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

Unlike Israel of old, we do not need to see the pillar of cloud, nor the pillar of fire, for we have God's inerrant word that promises us His presence, protection, and guidance.

Our God lead Israel to become a great nation, and what great thing, can He do in our lives, is limited only by our surrender to His perfect ways.

Galatians 2:20 KJV (Apostle Paul)
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

Matthew 12:50 KJV
For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.

Taxes

Bible Questions Answered:
“...so we have a real problem in our country about taxes, what do you think the Bible might say?”
Gregory/ Seattle, Washington

Bible Answer:

Yes the Bible does address the subject of taxes.

Matthew 17:24-27 KJV
24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
26 Peter saith unto Him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for Me and thee.

Besides Roman tax, among the Jews, it was a known that when a man turned 20 years old, he of necessity had to pay a temple tax of half a shekel. (In today's currency, 1 shekel approximately equals  $ .25.)

Exodus 30:11-16 NLT
11 Then the Lord said to Moses,
12 “Whenever you take a census of the people of Israel, each man who is counted must pay a ransom for himself to the Lord. Then no plague will strike the people as you count them.
13 Each person who is counted must give a small piece of silver as a sacred offering to the Lord. (This payment is half a shekel, based on the sanctuary shekel, which equals twenty gerahs.)
14 All who have reached their twentieth birthday must give this sacred offering to the Lord.
15 When this offering is given to the Lord to purify your lives, making you right with him, the rich must not give more than the specified amount, and the poor must not give less. (KJV "The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less...")
16 Receive this ransom money from the Israelites, and use it for the care of the Tabernacle. It will bring the Israelites to the Lord’s attention, and it will purify your lives.”

The temple had its general service expenses, plus the cost of sacrificial animals, the red heifers, scapegoats, shew-bread, incense, etc.

This Jewish tax was a "flat poll-tax," the rich and the poor, paid the same. It was said of the tax, "the rich paid no more, and the poor paid no less.*"

(Biblical Subjects - London 1879)

Though Jesus or Peter were not under obligation to pay, yet as not to offend anyone Jesus told Peter to go fishing and the fish he caught would have their tax money, one stater (one shekel), enough tax money for them both.

In these verses, again we see that our God, both knows the minds of men, Omniscience-all knowledge, and is Omnipotent-all powerful as well!

Genesis 18:14 KJV
Is any thing too hard for the Lord?

Matthew 22:15-22 KJV
15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle Him in His talk.
16 And they sent out unto Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye Me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew Me the tribute money. And they brought unto Him a penny.
20 And He saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto Him, Caesar's. Then saith He unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left Him, and went their way.

Romans 13:1-7 NLT
1 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you.
4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong.
5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.
6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.
7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

Prayer Request: Nigerian Believers Of Otite.

Prayer Request: Nigerian believers of Otite.

Dear Christian people, please pray for Christians who are being killed in Nigeria. Evidently there is "no," government protection for Christians there!

Just last June 16th, car bombs set off at two different churches killed 6 people, and seriously injuring 52 others..

August 8th, Three men entered a Nigerian church, just beginning its service, spraying the crowd with bullets form assault rifles, killing 19 worshipers.

Please pray for the sorrowing people, fellow believers of Deeper Life Evangelical Church of Otite, some 155 miles southwest of Abuja, Nigeria's capital. Radical Islamists (Known as Boko Haram), have struck again.

Islamic people, who say they decry such evil inhumanity, need to show the world, their hatred for such groups is real!

Acts 6:8-15 NLT
Stephen Arrested

8 Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed amazing miracles and signs among the people.
9 But one day some men from the Synagogue of Freed Slaves, as it was called, started to debate with him. They were Jews from Cyrene, Alexandria, Cilicia, and the province of Asia.
10 None of them could stand against the wisdom and the Spirit with which Stephen spoke.
11 So they persuaded some men to lie about Stephen, saying, “We heard him blaspheme Moses, and even God.”
12 This roused the people, the elders, and the teachers of religious law. So they arrested Stephen and brought him before the high council.
13 The lying witnesses said, “This man is always speaking against the holy Temple and against the law of Moses.
14 We have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy the Temple and change the customs Moses handed down to us.”
15 At this point everyone in the high council stared at Stephen, because his face became as bright as an angel’s.

Acts 7:1-60 NLT
Stephen spoke to the Council

1 Then the high priest asked Stephen, “Are these accusations true?”
2 This was Stephen’s reply: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me. Our glorious God appeared to our ancestor Abraham in Mesopotamia before he settled in Haran.
3 God told him, ‘Leave your native land and your relatives, and come into the land that I will show you.’
4 So Abraham left the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran until his father died. Then God brought him here to the land where you now live.

5 “But God gave him no inheritance here, not even one square foot of land. God did promise, however, that eventually the whole land would belong to Abraham and his descendants—even though he had no children yet.
6 God also told him that his descendants would live in a foreign land, where they would be oppressed as slaves for 400 years.
7 ‘But I will punish the nation that enslaves them,’ God said, ‘and in the end they will come out and worship Me here in this place.’
8 “God also gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision at that time. So when Abraham became the father of Isaac, he circumcised him on the eighth day. And the practice was continued when Isaac became the father of Jacob, and when Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs of the Israelite nation.

9 “These patriarchs were jealous of their brother Joseph, and they sold him to be a slave in Egypt. But God was with him
10 and rescued him from all his troubles. And God gave him favor before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. God also gave Joseph unusual wisdom, so that Pharaoh appointed him governor over all of Egypt and put him in charge of the palace.

11 “But a famine came upon Egypt and Canaan. There was great misery, and our ancestors ran out of food.
12 Jacob heard that there was still grain in Egypt, so he sent his sons—our ancestors—to buy some.
13 The second time they went, Joseph revealed his identity to his brothers, and they were introduced to Pharaoh. 14 Then Joseph sent for his father, Jacob, and all his relatives to come to Egypt, seventy-five persons in all.
15 So Jacob went to Egypt. He died there, as did our ancestors.
16 Their bodies were taken to Shechem and buried in the tomb Abraham had bought for a certain price from Hamor’s sons in Shechem.

17 “As the time drew near when God would fulfill his promise to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt greatly increased.
18 But then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph.
19 This king exploited our people and oppressed them, forcing parents to abandon their newborn babies so they would die.

20 “At that time Moses was born—a beautiful child in God’s eyes. His parents cared for him at home for three months.
21 When they had to abandon him, Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him and raised him as her own son.
22 Moses was taught all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and he was powerful in both speech and action.

23 “One day when Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his relatives, the people of Israel.
24 He saw an Egyptian mistreating an Israelite. So Moses came to the man’s defense and avenged him, killing the Egyptian.
25 Moses assumed his fellow Israelites would realize that God had sent him to rescue them, but they didn’t.

26 “The next day he visited them again and saw two men of Israel fighting. He tried to be a peacemaker. ‘Men,’ he said, ‘you are brothers. Why are you fighting each other?’

27 “But the man in the wrong pushed Moses aside. ‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ he asked.
28 ‘Are you going to kill me as you killed that Egyptian yesterday?’
29 When Moses heard that, he fled the country and lived as a foreigner in the land of Midian. There his two sons were born.

30 “Forty years later, in the desert near Mount Sinai, an angel appeared to Moses in the flame of a burning bush. 31 When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight. As he went to take a closer look, the voice of the Lord called out to him,
32 ‘I am the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses shook with terror and did not dare to look.

33 “Then the Lord said to him, ‘Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.
34 I have certainly seen the oppression of My people in Egypt. I have heard their groans and have come down to rescue them. Now go, for I am sending you back to Egypt.’

35 “So God sent back the same man his people had previously rejected when they demanded, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ Through the Angel who appeared to him in the burning bush, God sent Moses to be their ruler and savior.
36 And by means of many wonders and miraculous signs, he led them out of Egypt, through the Red Sea, and through the wilderness for forty years.

37 “Moses himself told the people of Israel, ‘God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your own people.’
38 Moses was with our ancestors, the assembly of God’s people in the wilderness, when the Angel spoke to him at Mount Sinai. And there Moses received life-giving words to pass on to us.

39 “But our ancestors refused to listen to Moses. They rejected him and wanted to return to Egypt.
40 They told Aaron, ‘Make us some gods who can lead us, for we don’t know what has become of this Moses, who brought us out of Egypt.’
41 So they made an idol shaped like a calf, and they sacrificed to it and celebrated over this thing they had made.
42 Then God turned away from them and abandoned them to serve the stars of heaven as their gods! In the book of the prophets it is written, ‘Was it to me you were bringing sacrifices and offerings during those forty years in the wilderness, Israel?
43 No, you carried your pagan gods— the shrine of Molech, the star of your god Rephan, and the images you made to worship them. So I will send you into exile as far away as Babylon."
44 “Our ancestors carried the Tabernacle with them through the wilderness. It was constructed according to the plan God had shown to Moses.
45 Years later, when Joshua led our ancestors in battle against the nations that God drove out of this land, the Tabernacle was taken with them into their new territory. And it stayed there until the time of King David.
46 “David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob.
47 But it was Solomon who actually built it.
48 However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says,
49 ‘Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Could you build Me a temple as good as that?’ asks the Lord.‘Could you build Me such a resting place?
50     Didn’t My hands make both heaven and earth?’
51 “You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!
52 Name one prophet your ancestors didn’t persecute! They even killed the ones who predicted the coming of the Righteous One—the Messiah whom you betrayed and murdered.
53 You deliberately disobeyed God’s law, even though you received it from the hands of angels.”

54 The Jewish leaders were infuriated by Stephen’s accusation, and they shook their fists at him in rage.
55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
56 And he told them, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand!”

57 Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him
58 and dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. His accusers took off their coats and laid them at the feet of a young man named Saul.

59 As they stoned him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
60 He fell to his knees, shouting, “Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!” And with that, he died.

Hebrews 13:3 NLT
Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.

II Timothy 2:9-13 NLT (The Apostle Paul)
9 And because I preach this Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained.
10 So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen.
11 This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with Him, we will also live with Him.
12 If we endure hardship, we will reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will deny us.
13 If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny who He is.

Brothers and Sisters in Jesus, please be in prayer for suffering believers in Nigeria. Pray that the Spirit of God will sweep over this land, bringing men, women and children to the saving knowledge of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

God bless you.

Deception-End Time

Bible Questions Answered:
“...are end of days here, so hows to tell that...”
Pochotl/ San Diego, California

Bible Answer:

The word that marks our day is “deceitful.”

Deception:

Deceitful Apostles/ Shepherds:

II Corinthians 11:13 KJV
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Isaiah 56:10-11 NLT
10 For the leaders of My people— the Lord’s watchmen, His shepherds— are blind and ignorant. They are like silent watchdogs that give no warning when danger comes. They love to lie around, sleeping and dreaming.
11 Like greedy dogs, they are never satisfied. They are ignorant shepherds, all following their own path and intent on personal gain.

Ezekiel 34:1-10 NLT
1 Then this message came to me from the Lord:
2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders... Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?
3 You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve.
4 You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty.
5 So My sheep have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal.
6 They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them.
7 “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
8 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, you abandoned My flock and left them to be attacked by every wild animal. And though you were My shepherds, you didn’t search for My sheep when they were lost. You took care of yourselves and left the sheep to starve.
9 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord.
10 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I now consider these shepherds My enemies, and I will hold them responsible for what has happened to My flock. I will take away their right to feed the flock, and I will stop them from feeding themselves. I will rescue My flock from their mouths; the sheep will no longer be their prey.

John 10:11-14 KJV
11 I am the Good Shepherd: the Good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the Good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine.

Deceitful - so called - Christians:

Galatians 2:4,5 NLT
4 Even that question came up only because of some so-called Christians there—false ones, really—who were secretly brought in. They sneaked in to spy on us and take away the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. They wanted to enslave us and force us to follow their Jewish regulations.
5 But we refused to give in to them for a single moment. We wanted to preserve the truth of the gospel message for you.

Deceitful Christs:

Isaiah 2:7-12 KJV
7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:
8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
10 Enter into the Rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of The Lord of Hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Jeremiah 2:11 NLT
Has any nation ever traded its gods for new ones, even though they are not gods at all? Yet My people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols!

Daniel 5:22-28 KJV
22 And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;
23 But hast lifted up thyself against The Lord of Heaven; and they have brought the vessels of His house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:
24 Then was the part of the hand sent from Him; and this writing was written.
25 And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.
26 This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.
27 Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.
28 Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Matthew 24:4,5, 24 KJV
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Mark 13:21-23 NLT
21 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it.
22 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
23 Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time!

I Corinthians 8:5,6 NLT
5 There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many lords.
6 But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for Him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom God made everything and through whom we have been given life.

I Corinthians 12:2 NLT
You know that when you were still pagans, you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols.

Deceitful Doctrines:

Isaiah 32:6 NLT
For fools speak foolishness and make evil plans. They practice ungodliness and spread false teachings about the Lord..."

Matthew 23:4-11 KJV
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Colossians 2:8 KJV
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

I Timothy 4:1-5 KJV
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Hebrews 13:8,9 KJV
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Deceitful Gospel:

Galatians 1:6-12 KJV
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Deceitful Workers of Miracles:

II Thessalonians 2:7-12 KJV
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the Truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Deceitful Prayers:

James 4:2,3 NLT
2  Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it.
3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

Deceitful Profession:

Psalm 78:35-37 NLT
35 Then they remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.
36 But all they gave Him was lip service; they lied to Him with their tongues.
37 Their hearts were not loyal to Him. They did not keep His covenant.

Proverbs 26:23 NLT
Smooth words may hide a wicked heart, just as a pretty glaze covers a clay pot.

Ezekiel 33:30-33 NLT
30 “Son of man, your people talk about you in their houses and whisper about you at the doors. They say to each other, ‘Come on, let’s go hear the prophet tell us what the Lord is saying!’
31 So My people come pretending to be sincere and sit before you. They listen to your words, but they have no intention of doing what you say. Their mouths are full of lustful words, and their hearts seek only after money.
32 You are very entertaining to them, like someone who sings love songs with a beautiful voice or plays fine music on an instrument. They hear what you say, but they don’t act on it!

Deceitful Prophets:

Matthew 7:15-20 KJV
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

I John 4:1 KJV
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Deceitful Religion:

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

Mark 7:6 KJV
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

Galatians 5:1 KJV
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Colossians 2:20-22 KJV
20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

Titus 1:16 KJV
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Deceitful Religious Edicts:

Titus 1:10-14 NLT
10 For there are many rebellious people who engage in useless talk and deceive others....
11 They must be silenced, because they are turning whole families away from the truth by their false teaching. And they do it only for money.
13 ...So reprimand them sternly to make them strong in the faith.
14 They must stop listening to Jewish myths and the commands of people who have turned away from the truth.

Matthew 15:14 KJV
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Deceitful Religious Teachers:

II Peter 2:1 KJV
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Deceitful Science:

I Timothy 6:20 KJV
20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
21 Which some professing have erred concerning the faith..."

Deceitful Religious Workers:

II Corinthians 11:14-15 KJV
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Deceitful Worship:

 Isaiah 29:13 NLT
And so the Lord says,“These people say they are Mine. They honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. And their worship of Me is nothing but man-made rules learned by rote.

Matthew 15:8,9 KJV
8 This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoreth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

II Timothy 3:5 KJV
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Music That Drives The Devil Away

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I heard from him that there is a music that chases the devil...”
Matthias/ Guerrero, Mexico

Bible Answer:

Yes!
Actually, it is more the heart of the musician, than the music. But yes, music can chase the evil one!

James 4:7 KJV
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Today we don't need kids singing rock music, or jazzed up hymns in the house of God, as well meaning as they might be, and as misguided as their promoters might be.

It use to be that the elder gave the younger a moral and spiritual standard to follow, how has the enemy turned this upside down?

Could it be because the enemy of our souls, is himself a musician?
Yes, that is right.

Ezekiel 28:13
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets* and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

*Tabrets - Hebrew - Toph (Tofe): A tambourine, tabret, timbrel.
Also know as a Timbrel, an instrument of music.

For example:

Miriam Exodus 15:20/ Jephthhah's daughter Judges 11:34/ For religious service II Samuel 6:5; I Chronicles 13:8; Psalm 68:25; 81:2; 149:3; 150:4; / used for dances Job 21:12.

Isaiah 14:11,12 KJV
11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols*: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

* Viols: Hebrew-Nebel (Nay-bel): A lyre, psaltery, viol.
(A harp like instrument.)

For example:

Isaiah 5:12; 14:11; Amos 5:23

Dear friend, may there be no doubt, that Satan, is a chief musician, and the music he makes is “not,” heavenly.
Who do we think is the author is of all the evil dark music of the world? Satan, that is who! All we have to do is to look at the picture of some who play the Devils music to know where there music originates from!

Is there Godly music that can chase the Devil away?
Thank God, the answer is yes, and it belongs in your home, your car, and your church!

I Samuel 16:23 KJV
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

II Chronicles 20:1-29 KJV
1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.
2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.

3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.
5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,

6 And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?
7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
8 And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,
9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction,
then thou wilt hear and help.
10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;
11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.
12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

13 And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.
14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation;
15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours, but God's.
16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.
19 And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper.
21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for His mercy endureth for ever.

22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
26 And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day.
27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

28 And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord.
29 And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.

If we would but praise the Lord...He would fight the enemy for us!
Today is the time to praise the Lord!

Psalm 33:1-3 KJV
1 Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
2 Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto Him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
3 Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

Psalm 67:3 KJV
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.

Ephesians 5:19 KJV
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16 KJV
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hebrews 13:15 KJV
By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.

I Peter 2:5,9 KJV
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: The Ten Plagues

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: Ten Egyptian Plagues.

Occasion: The Revelation Of God's Power.

Location: Egypt.

Bible Text: Exodus Chapters 7-12.

Exodus 7:1-7 NLT
1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pay close attention to this. I will make you seem like God to Pharaoh, and your brother, Aaron, will be your prophet.
2 Tell Aaron everything I command you, and Aaron must command Pharaoh to let the people of Israel leave his country.
3 But I will make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn so I can multiply My miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt. 4 Even then Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you. So I will bring down My fist on Egypt. Then I will rescue My forces—My people, the Israelites—from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.
5 When I raise My powerful hand and bring out the Israelites, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”
6 So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded them.
7 Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to Pharaoh.

1) The Plague Of Blood. Exodus 7:14-24 KJV
Aaron, struck the waters of the Nile with his staff, and they became blood.
Exodus 7:22 NLT But again the magicians of Egypt used their magic, and they, too, turned water into blood.

2) The Plague Of Frogs. Exodus 8:1-15 KJV
Aaron raises his staff over the water of Egypt, and up came frogs.
All the land became filled with frogs, Pharaoh pleads that they be removed.
Exodus 8:7 NLLT But the magicians were able to do the same thing with their magic. They, too, caused frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

3) The Plague Of Gnats (Lice). Exodus 8:16-19 KJV
Aaron, was told to strike the ground with his staff and the dust would become gnats.
Pharaoh's magicians tried to do the same, but could not. The whole land was filled with gnats.

4) The Plague Of Flies. Exodus 8:20-32 KJV
Aaron, warns Pharaoh, to let his people go or the Lord will send swarms of flies.
Swarms of flies infested the land.

5) The Plague Of Murrain. Exodus 9:1-7 KJV
All of Pharaoh's animals came down with a deadly plague. Pharaoh's animals lay dead.

6) The Plague Of Boils. Exodus 9:8-12 KJV
All of Pharaoh's people came down with boils, including the magicians.

7) The Plague Of Hail. Exodus 9:13-35 KJV
Hail, destroyed, people, animals, plants and trees.

8) The Plague Of Locusts. Exodus 10:1-20 KJV
Locusts, destroy everything in the land of Egypt.

9) The Plague Of Darkness. Exodus 10:21-29 KJV
For three days darkness was so thick, one could feel it, no one moved.

10) The Plague Of Death Of The First Born. Exodus 11:1-9/ 12:1-30 KJV
The death angel, struck the first born of the Egyptians and their animals.
Exodus 12:30 NLT Pharaoh and all his officials and all the people of Egypt woke up during the night, and loud wailing was heard throughout the land of Egypt. There was not a single house where someone had not died.

Many of the above were worshiped in one form or another in ancient Egypt, but God proved who was greater!

Exodus 20:1-6 KJV
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

(First Commandment.)
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

(Second Commandment.)
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exodus 12:31-42 NLT
Israel Leaves Egypt

31 Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron during the night. “Get out!” he ordered. “Leave my people—and take the rest of the Israelites with you! Go and worship the Lord as you have requested.
32 Take your flocks and herds, as you said, and be gone. Go, but bless me as you leave.”
33 All the Egyptians urged the people of Israel to get out of the land as quickly as possible, for they thought, “We will all die!”
34 The Israelites took their bread dough before yeast was added. They wrapped their kneading boards in their cloaks and carried them on their shoulders.
35 And the people of Israel did as Moses had instructed; they asked the Egyptians for clothing and articles of silver and gold.
36 The Lord caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the Israelites, and they gave the Israelites whatever they asked for. So they stripped the Egyptians of their wealth!
37 That night the people of Israel left Rameses and started for Succoth. There were about 600,000 men, plus all the women and children.
38 A rabble of non-Israelites went with them, along with great flocks and herds of livestock.
39 For bread they baked flat cakes from the dough without yeast they had brought from Egypt. It was made without yeast because the people were driven out of Egypt in such a hurry that they had no time to prepare the bread or other food.
40 The people of Israel had lived in Egypt for 430 years.
41 In fact, it was on the last day of the 430th year that all the Lord’s forces left the land.
42 On this night the Lord kept His promise to bring His people out of the land of Egypt. So this night belongs to Him, and it must be commemorated every year by all the Israelites, from generation to generation.

Exodus 12:43-51 NLT
The Passover

43 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “These are the instructions for the festival of Passover. No outsiders are allowed to eat the Passover meal.
44 But any slave who has been purchased may eat it if he has been circumcised.
45 Temporary residents and hired servants may not eat it.
46 Each Passover lamb must be eaten in one house. Do not carry any of its meat outside, and do not break any of its bones.
47 The whole community of Israel must celebrate this Passover festival.
48 “If there are foreigners living among you who want to celebrate the Lord’s Passover, let all their males be circumcised. Only then may they celebrate the Passover with you like any native-born Israelite. But no uncircumcised male may ever eat the Passover meal.
49 This instruction applies to everyone, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner living among you.”
50 So all the people of Israel followed all the Lord’s commands to Moses and Aaron.
51 On that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt like an army.

Our Lord told Abraham...
Genesis 18:14 KJV
Is any thing too hard for the LORD?..."

Answer, no!

“But pastor, this was disease, destruction, and even death!”

Answer: (And be sure to write this verse in the first page of  your Bible!)
Psalm 145:17 KJV
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works.

Psalm 18:30 KJV
As for God, His way is perfect..."

Isaiah 55:8,9 KJV
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Romans 11:33,34 KJV
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counselor?

Revelation 15:3 KJV
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of Saints.

Then there is another lesson from this story and that is....
Hebrews 3:15 KJV
While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts..."

Pharaoh and all of Egypt, hardened their hearts and would not listen to the warning of God, and they suffered, suffered the consequences.

Isaiah  63:10 KJV
But they rebelled, and vexed His Holy Spirit: therefore He was turned to be their enemy, and He fought against them.

Genesis 4:7 NLT (God's message to Cain.)
You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”

James 4:7,8 KJV
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you..."

Psalm 145:18-21 KJV
18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 The Lord preserveth all them that love Him: but all the wicked will He destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
